Each module has a ‘brief’ (or guidelines) which details the work required and the resources provided, such as tutorial videos, creative assets like typeface and layouts, previous examples of student work, and more. We adopt a step-by-step approach to each project.
Part-time students are required to be in the studio environment for 1 day a week so they can work closely with Bill Strohacker and guest tutors, as well as other students, for inspiration and guidance.
On average you will also be expected to be within the studio 1 day a week, and work up to 7 hours per week in your own time. We offer online tutor support for off-site working throughout the course.
If you wish to study on a Strohacker Design School part-time course, yes there are specifric start dates. Please refer to thepart-time course page. However, courses fill up quickly as we restrict the intake to a maximum of 8 students on both full-time and part-time courses.
You can schedule a Zoom meeting with Bill once per week to go over any work you wish to receive feedback on. Every week we will also send an email to check on your progress for the on-going module to see if you need assistance.
